JOB SUMMARY: Full-time MOA required for an accredited multi-national cardio-respiratory company. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of medical office-related duties; reception, scheduling patient appointments, filing and communicating with physician offices. Will provide assistance to clinical care team, downloading and cleaning diagnostic devices as well as perform other administrative duties as required. Must be a team player, have excellent computer skills, keen attention to detail and accuracy, and has the ability to learn quickly and to work efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a Grade 12 education and ideally, at least three years' office experience. MOA diploma and/or previous experience in a medical setting are definite assets. The Payroll Coordinators main function is to ensure all payroll requirements are met while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. As a member of the Accounting/HR team and the primary point of contact for payroll, the incumbent will respond to inquiries from management, employees and third parties. Key accountabilities:
The ideal candidate should be current on new legislation and regulatory ruling impacting payroll in a multi-provincial, multi-company environment, enforce adherence to requirements and advise management on required actions. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years payroll processing experience with responsibilities that include payroll journal entries, accruals, general ledger and payroll account reconciliation. The successful candidate will require attention to detail, strong business acumen with an ability to communicate effectively within a team environment. Must be organized and able to work within deadlines and work independently as well as in a team environment.
