COPD Assessment Test

COPD Assessment Test (CAT)

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a disease of the lungs, which makes it very difficult to breathe. The symptoms experienced by people with COPD, such as ongoing cough, shortness of breath, wheezing, and chest tightness, can restrict them from performing simple activities, like washing or getting dressed. The (CAT) is a new questionnaire for people who have or may have COPD. It is designed to measure the impact of COPD on a person’s life, and how this changes over time.
